Roy R. Rice III (Tripp) is a third generation prosthetist, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather before him. He has been working in the Prosthetic industry for over 20 years. He completed his formal training in prosthetics and is board certified and state licensed. Prior to opening Augusta Orthotics and Prosthetics (AOPI) Tripp was one of the top practioners for Atlanta Prosthetics/Nova Care before deciding to leave the corporate environment to form AOPI in 1999 to enjoy the benefits of providing each patient entrusted to our care with the best possible rehabilitation solution for his/her capabilities, lifestyle and vocational aspirations.                

Kenneth Collier, CO, BOCO, LO, CPA

Kenneth Collier has over 20 years experience in the O & P industry. He is a Georgia state licensed Orthotist with certifications through both the American Board of Certification (ABC) and Board of Certification (BOC).  Ken graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1989 with bachelor’s degrees in both chemistry and statistics. While obtaining his undergraduate degrees, he worked for Duramed in the DME industry. This experience prompted further education at Shelby State, where he completed the certification program for orthotics in 1991. He served the Augusta area for several years through Duramed until he opened his own business in 1997, as SMC Braces and Shoes. Ken joined AOPI in 2001 and is an indispensible member of our team.
